2012 Korean Government Scholarship Program for International Students Enrolled in Graduate Programs

Dear Israeli students.

In order to promote mutual exchanges in the field of education between Korea and Israel, the Government of the Republic of Korea will grant scholarship to one Israeli students for Master’s Program or Doctoral Program in Korea in the year of 2012. The Korean Embassy in Israel hopes that many eligible Israeli students will apply for this outstanding program.

Reading carefully the following points and the enclosed “2012 Korean Government Scholarship Program Guideline for International Students Enrolled in Graduate Programs”, applicants are kindly requested to submit all the necessary documents to the Korean Embassy in due time.

Schedules

- Applicants should submit all the necessary documents to the Korean Embassy by March 23. 2012.

- Applicants will have an individual interview at the Korean Embassy on March 29. 2012.

* Time for the interview will be notified later on.

- The Korean Embassy will announce up to two potential candidates for the programs on its website on April 3. 2012, and thereafter the National Institute for International Education(NIIED) in Korea will select one final candidates.

- Throughout other procedures other than the aforementioned process, the Korean Embassy will inform the one final candidates selected by NIIED of the final result around mid or late June, 2011.

- Schedules are subject to change due to circumstances related to the Korean Embassy in Israel and the National Institute for International Education(NIIED) in Korea.
