School of Economics and Management
The School of Economics and Management focuses on three interrelated aspects: teaching, research and collaboration with the business community, combined with a wide range of management-related activities.
The School offers a B.A. in Economics & Management and a B.A. in Information Systems.
The uniqueness of our BA in Economics & Management stems from its successful combination between theoretical knowledge and applicable tools. The various curriculums offered are modeled after B.A. programs in Applied Economics and Management in leading universities in the US.
An important component of the School's activities is the research conducted by the faculty in collaboration with researchers from other institutions in Israel and abroad. The focus placed on research contributes to the professional expertise and aptitude of faculty members and is an important element in their superior teaching skills. Thanks to research, the School has evolved into a hub of activities in various fields such as family businesses, the cultivation and sale of ideas as an economic activity, corporate governance, and the management of multidisciplinary urban systems.
The School is attentive to the needs of the business community, and thus maintains a constant and ongoing interaction with this sector. Key figures in the business and professional community are active alongside and within the School as counselors and guest lecturers in courses. In addition, they regularly meet with small groups of students and participate in conferences and workshops at the School.
The School of Economics and Management considers itself an integral part of Tel Aviv-Yafo, and as such aspires to contribute to a better understanding of the economic and managerial aspects of Tel Aviv as Israel's leading and central city. MTA is a partner of Tel Aviv, the city that never sleeps.
Our faculty includes a wide range of both young and veteran professionals from various universities in Israel and abroad. Together, they offer extensive and rich experience in all the fields taught at the School.
